"The Lawrence Summer Dance Institute gave my children the opportunity to take classes with professional dancers; an opportunity they would never have had. I saw them grow as dancers and as people. It also gave them the chance to travel across the world without ever leaving Lawrence!"

Jean Appolon Expressions and Izizwe Dance Studio understand now more than ever that connection to culture, education, and art are vital in creating individual and community success. Our summer dance institute offers youth an opportunity to learn from professional dancers and choreographers in an environment that focuses on individual growth and community development. Our mission is to offer something to every young dancer; whether you are on track for a professional/collegiate career in performing arts or just inspired to dance, have fun, and make new friends.  Priority will be given to Merrimack Valley residents.

For the safety and well-being of our dance community; the Summer Dance Institute will be offered remotely with opportunities to participate in outdoor performances and activities that remain socially distant. Please reach out to us with more information on how we are following the statewide guidelines for a successful and safe program.
