Izizwe Dance Studio is excited to announce a summer partnership with Jean Appolon Expressions! Jean Appolon Expressions (JAE) is a non-profit (501c3) professional dance company located in Boston and Haiti. JAE has been the recipient of several grants and awards and has performed for audiences around the world. Directed by Jean Appolon, JAE combines Haitian and Modern dance techniques to create work that is powerful and dynamic. Along with their impressive repertoire, JAE has inspired communities through dance education and training. For more than ten years, JAE has conducted a summer dance institute in Haiti where hundreds of children have access to high quality dance training for free.
